Hourly Lessons

$35 per hour
Hourly throwing lessons are available for adult students of all skill levels. Students choose what they would like to learn and practice during hourly lessons. Fee includes clay, use of my potters wheel and tools. Pots thrown during hourly lessons will be bisque fired.

One Day Individual Class

$150.00
One day individual hands on throwing/wheel lessons are available. Adult students of all skill levels are welcome. Lessons may include wedging clay, and centering and throwing clay on the potters wheel. Three basic forms will be introduced: the bowl, the plate and the cylinder. Projects also geared to meet individual students needs and may include techniques such as handle pulling and attachment, lidded forms, teapot construction, trimming finished forms or any other lessons students wish to take home. Fee includes clay and use of my potters wheel and tools. Pots thrown during classes will be bisque fired.

Weekly Sessions

Meet once a week for three hours
Sessions last four weeks
$300.00
Individual hands on throwing/wheel lessons for four 3 hour sessions. Students will learn to wedge clay, and center and throw clay on the potters wheel. Three basic forms will be introduced: the bowl, the plate and the cylinder. Projects also geared to meet individual students needs and may include techniques such as handle pulling and attachment, lidded forms, teapot construction, trimming finished forms or any other lessons students wish to take home. Tips and techniques for a productive studio will be discussed. Fees include materials. Work produced during the four week course will be bisque fired.
